Day … 2?

We’re back.

Yes. Day 2 does fall nearly 10 months after day 1. I’ve been BUSY.

Busy doubting myself. Busy giving myself 100 reasons why setting this business up is cringe, or lame, or never going to work.

That is why is has taken me so long to get to day 2.

The last “24 hours”

In the last (what I’m calling “24 hours” ) I’ve been doing it all. Praticing my skills and creating daily. Not being apologetic to grab my sketch book and draw something I see which inspires me. I’ve began talking about it. And I really want to manifest the steady growth of Lucy’s Creations over the next 6-8 months.

Last week (is that like an hour ago in my magic analogy?) I officially registered Lucy’s Creations as a Limited Company, and did the big girl task of setting up a buisness bank account. I’m now sat waiting for the card to be delivered before making any more moves like ordering samples and setting up my bills for hosting my website etc to come from that account.

I’ve done my research and taken it day by day, step by step to ensure I’ve set up all of the correct thing to enable me to build my business with confidence.

So, what’s next.

Well….

Lots and lots of creating. I’ve already been working on a few things, and have some trial “print on demand” products on my site. But I havent got enough on my website to start to be able to publish/ share the site with people beyond having it linked in my bio on social media.

I want to give myself the challenge of having 10 solid products ready to sell by June. They dont have to be on the site. But a fully designed and artworked file ready to be produced is certainly achievable.

Then I have the summer to market my products and begin to get the word out.

There’s more involved in all of that. Considering where and how I share my website/ content and who I send the link to. Friends/ family. Do I print and post them myself - probably.

I also have big goals of eventually being able to stock and sell at a market all my personal little designs.

But lets just do the next right thing. One singular step. creating those designs - so when the time comes, I’m ready to consider my options for delivery.

Closing thoughts

I hope this blog continues to track my growth, my progress and most importantly all the steps I’ve taken to get to where I end up. I intend to manifest here and share my goals for the future - I truly believe putting those things out into the world makes them real.
